I have always been fascinated with natural wood. My earliest memory of wood was watching my father build a race boat in the early fifties. He was a perfectionist and he took pride in creating works of art with wood. I learned from him that wood has a value, warmth and natural beauty like no other material. In my opinion Western red cedar trees are the most majestic and yield the most unique of all woods.

I gained valuable business principals at an early age in my mother and father’s Country Store. I was taught the importance of customer service: it was our responsibility to meet the needs of every customer so that we may be privilidged to keep them as customers. If a customer was happy with our service he would come back and bring others. I soon became aware that our customers were looking for the finest quality merchandise at the most affordable prices, and these are principles we apply today in our outdoor garden furniture business.
